The name TANI ORI comes from Japanese and can be translated as “valley fabric.” It symbolizes the harmony between the material and nature – reminiscent of the silent flow, the depth of the landscape and the gentleness that is created without haste.

TANI-ORI is a dress you'll fall in love with at first touch - the delicate blend of silk and cotton is light as air, breathes beautifully and moves with you with every step. The ruching and hand-crafted details give it depth, character and a subtle irregularity. You can wear it to the gallery, to dinner or to work - and you'll look different every time.

Each piece is the result of over 35 hours of handwork, reflecting the care and dedication to the craft. Minor irregularities in color, shade and print are characteristic of hand-made production and give each piece a unique character.
