The best and most recommended cleaning method is to use the services of a reputable cleaning company. JUSTLOVE cooperates with cleaning company cleany.cz, where you can also apply a discount of CZK 150 on the first cleaning with the code SPA150. With Cleany, we tested how our cashmere clothes behave in washing tests, and the tests came out on top! In addition, if you are from a city where Cleany has its own couriers, then you just need to order a courier on their website, he will come to pick up your treasures on the same day, and then bring them back to you within 24 hours.
But not everyone prefers a dry cleaner. And so here we have hand washing, which can become a nice ritual between you and your cashmere sweater, in which you realize that it's actually nice to take care of someone and repay them for taking care of you :)
Please follow these guidelines when washing by hand:
- Fill the sink with lukewarm water (the temperature of the water should not exceed 20 degrees Celsius) and add a mild detergent (e.g. baby soap or shampoo, of course you can also use special detergents for hand washing cashmere)
- Turn the cashmere garment inside out and gently wring it in the water, being careful not to wring it or twist it out of shape.
- Leave the garment soaked for at least 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly, ideally in a freshly filled sink with clean water or under running water.
- When rinsing, proceed in the same way, do not squeeze out excess water. Use a towel to roll up the garment like a pancake to remove the remaining water.
- Be really careful when washing large sweaters because the weight of the water can pull the sweater out, losing its original shape. Leave large sweaters to the professionals.
And if anything, drop us a line or call, we'll be happy to help you with your cashmere treasures.
